Rule 29: Summary Judgment
Any
time twenty (20) days after commencement of an action, any party may move the
Court for summary judgment as to any or all of the issues presented in the case
and such shall be granted by the Court if it appears that there is no genuine
issue as to any material fact and that the moving party is entitled to judgment
as a matter of law. Scheduling and
briefing of such motions shall be governed by Rule 5.
Note of Amendment: Rule 29 was amended in March, 1997 to provide that scheduling and briefing would be in accordance with Rule 5.
