PIIC Departments
The Communications department manages the following areas:
- Newsletter
- Website
- Photography
- Printing
Prairie Island offers its community members a full-color, comprehensive bi-monthly newsletter for which the Communications Department manages the research, photography, copywriting, editing, design, layout, printing, publishing, and mailing processes.
The newsletter is exclusively for Prairie Island Indian Community members. Non-member advertisers or subscribers are not currently accepted.
The Communications Department also manages the staff intranet, PIIC website, takes care of in-house photography needs, and produces such things as brochures, flyers, posters, and signage for community events, special programs, and other departments as needed.
