Gaming

The Prairie Island Indian Gaming Commission’s primary mission is to regulate gaming activities on Indian land for the purpose of shielding our tribe from organized crime and other corrupting influences and to ensure that the Prairie Island Indian Community is primary beneficiary of the gaming revenue, and to ensure that gaming in conducted fairly and honestly for both Treasure Island Resort and Casino and our guests.  To achieve this goal the Commission will take enforcement actions including the issuances of notices of violations, assessment of fines, conduct background investigations, conduct audits, and review and implement and enforce the spirit and intent of the gaming ordinance, all Tribal Regulations, the IGRA and NIGC Regulations and the Compact between the State of Minnesota and the Prairie Island Indian Community
